Scrapbook & Card Club

These Pull Treats would make a really great Teacher gift for Halloween!
Who doesn't like a Hershey Chocolate Bar as a gift!
To make these pull treats:
6"x7" piece Rich Razzleberry Card Stock - score at 2 3/4" & 5 1/2" on the 6" side. Use Red Sticky Strip on the 1/2" strip on the front side. Turn card stock over (this is the inside of pull treat) use Sticky Strip on the bottom of the 2 3/4" outer edge. To adhere, fold 1/2" strip in & then 2 3/4" edge over. This creates your pocket. I sponged Basic Black around the edges.

2 1/2"x 6 1/2" Night & Day Specialty Paper (Holiday Mini Catalog) for belly band - score at 2 3/4" & 5 1/2". Place around treat holder. I used a little piece of Crushed Curry that I ripped, then place under the belly band. I stamped Happy Halloween from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set in Crushed Curry.

To decorate: I used Batty For You stamp set in Old Olive & Basic Black then punched out with 1 3/8" Circle Punch. Scallop Circle Punch using Old Olive card stock and used Basic Black Stampin' Write Journaler to add dots around the scallop. Wiggly eyes on the spider. Stampin' Dimensionals under the spider. I took Basic Black ink and rubbed it on the Natural Hemp Twine to turn it black then tied it around the pull treat pouch. Use the Horizontal Slot Punch at the top.

30" Black Gingham Ribbon (I used a little piece of Basic Black 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon to tie at the top). Wrap the ribbon around the chocolate bar, insert into the pouch, thread the ribbon through the horizontal slot and tie. To remove chocolate bar simply pull on the ribbon!

Thanks Beate Johns for a great Halloween treat holder!

On this Halloween card I followed the same colors as the pull-treat. I also sponged the edges of the Rich Razzleberry with Basic Black ink.
